CraniumART
Future
Picassos, future technology – Ages 6 – 10
| CraniumART
is a unique
way to teach children Art. Not only does the program teach
kids individual creative Art expression, but it also integrates
a complete fun-filled curriculum about the language and
meaning of Art. Traditional Art concepts seem static and
uninteresting to most children. CraniumART IS NOT
traditional Art! The program was developed by incorporating
the latest technology based art curriculum with hands-on
art projects that ensure kids are having fun while learning
about, and doing, art. Students interact with animated
characters that show them how art tools, such as paint,
clay, pastels or canvases, are made and utilized. The
program helps students to answer questions such as “Is
it Art if it’s made with crayons?” or “Is
it Art if it’s made by a student?”. The interactive
sessions also help |

students
understand concepts such as “Contrast, Value and Lighting”,
“Warm and Cool Colors”, “How Lines Make You
Feel” and “Finding Shapes in Forms”.

CraniumART
focuses on
developing a foundation in the principles, elements and
concepts of art. The program explores how these segments
are used together, and why they are chosen and combined
to most effectively convey meaning. Through the discovery
of art as a language, students learn not just how but
why art is created. CraniumART then takes this knowledge
a step further into meaning and interpretation. The children
gain understanding through exposure to art and by exploring
how art has been a visual language throughout history.
The interactive sessions then go beyond the making of
art to include historical aspects of art such as Fibonacci
numbers/proportions in nature and Egyptian building. The
program then brings kids on interactive, animated, virtual

journeys
to places such as the Louvre in Paris or the Uffizi in Florence.
CraniumART provides a springboard for self-expression as the
children apply what they have learned and delve into their own
artistic inspiration. CraniumART is often combined with other
programs such as CraniumGYM
(which incorporates an indoor & outdoor state-of-the-art
gym) and CraniumTUTOR
(reading and math program). |
